The story

Hey all,

It's T from Gemsho. Just wanted to tell you a bit about us. S, my partner in crime is rocking a final table at the moment and says he needs to focus. So, I'm gonna tell you the story from my point of view.

So where do I start..... I suppose I should go a few years back to a different time. I remember like it was yesterday. I was sitting in my recliner watching the masters in Minnesota, sipping whiskey, and watching Phil on the tee when.... I looked down and observed my drink. To my surprise and disappointment, the glass I was using was the most average drinking vessel I'd ever seen and somehow I had never noticed before.

Feeling as though I was an above average human (and also feeling pretty schnockered) I decided this was completely unacceptable and I quickly set out  to up my game.... I started with my cupboard, which was a bust, followed by a search on Amazon, Ebay and Google only to come up equally disappointed. I spent a couple more days combing antique shops and I even took a covert trip to Bed Bath and Beyond but nothing seemed to do the trick. All a bust, average glassware everywhere!

It was at this point that it really hit me.... the universe must be sending me a message..... like "Yo, T, the world needs you, man. The glassware industry has let the people down and you've got the skills to change the game. All you have to do is get focused and begin the journey!".

So that's what I did. I went back home, pulled out my laptop, fired up my CAD software, and set about producing our very first product, the Golf Ball Whiskey Glass, and the rest is history..........Well, sort of. Ok you're right,it wasn't quite that simple.

In reality, on my path to the golf ball whiskey glass I made a bunch of other shit that no one liked or wanted (including me). I also lit a lot of money on fire following a cease and desist from the NHL (fuck those guys, but that's a story for another time). Anyways, the important thing is I finally struck gold with the whiskey glass and felt like I was making progress when I attracted the attention of some investors.... Which is where S comes in.

S is one of the most interesting dudes on the planet. Guy is a professional poker player who works a regular job as an "insurance policy" against the games being shut down. He's also possibly one of the only people in the world to successfully turn his gambling addiction into a profitable career...... Which makes him the perfect guy to provide a mid-sized investment for a small business built on a golf ball whiskey glass led by a team of one with nothing to offer but self proclaimed mad design skills, a lot of bravado, and a call to action from the universe (yah, that was in my pitch deck).

From there .... the rest really is history. We now have multiple products cooking, we're offering external marketing and design services and are well on our way to changing the barware game forever.

P.S. I'm the one on the right in the photo and S is on the far left. Dude in the middle is just some guy.
